“I have just moved to Pasadena from the east coast where I had lived my whole life. Of the many new services I needed to find was a hair salon that was clean, welcoming and had great services and stylists. I was quite picky having gone to the same person for 30 years who knew just how to take care of my fine curly hair and was comfortable using a diffuser. After reading tons of reviews on line, I decided to try Salon Sonik and make an appointment with Erica who had all 5 star reviews. All I can say is I struck gold! This salon checked every box. Everyone there is super friendly, the salon is immaculate and Erica is awesome. I had a free consult with her the week before my appointment so she could familiarize herself with my hair and my needs. She nailed it. I left the salon yesterday thrilled with my cut and color. As they use a different line of products than my former salon, the color is slightly different and I love it. Even my husband who never notices my hair color commented how nice it was! I have to also say that Veronica who washed my hair gave me one of the best shampoos I've had in a long time. She doesn't just wash your hair, she also gives your scalp a good washing and massages it at the same time. She massaged my scalp again with the conditioner. It was so relaxing I almost started to fall asleep! I really don't have enough words to say how thrilled I was with Salon Sonik and everyone there. People like Erica and Veronica and everyone else in the salon help making a big move like the one my husband and I just made, feel so welcome. I've already booked my next several months appointments. I can't praise this salon highly enough!“

“I have had my nails done by most of the nail techs and they are all wonderful - very kind, attentive, and accommodating. They always make sure my nails look perfect; even if I’m ready to pay and walk out the door, if they notice something is a tiny bit off, they will offer to keep going to make sure it’s perfect. It’s a small place, no frills, but very calming and clean, and it doesn’t smell like chemicals like some other salons.

“This was my first time trying eyebrow lamination. I received a quick response from Rashell when I inquired. First of all, being located in Pasadena I was dreading parking. I was super happy to find a huge public parking lot once I found the address. Second, this cute little salon is located inside the Burlington Arcade, it's a small shopping mall with lots of cute shops and a cafe. Look for a glass door that reads "Rashell Beauty",up the stairs and you will find this super clean, friendly salon. There you will find the two beautiful ladies that work the eyebrows and do an amazing job at it. I was very pleased with my results.“

“Came here for a lash refill. My lash artist, Rui, walked me through the different styles, lash extension materials and even tested the glue on my skin prior to the service. I chose a classic doll lash style with a C-curl.

The entire service was very relaxing (I even fell asleep haha). Rui has a gentle touch and did a great job. My extensions look and feel great. I didn’t experience any burning or pokes during or after my service. Definitely come for a service if you’re in the neighborhood!“

“This was my first visit to Orpheum Salon. My appt. was with Yoshi for a hair cut and color. I am a senior with short thinning hair, so I requested a simple hair cut. Yoshi gave me a simple hair cut that turned out to be very flattering, my husband was impressed. The hair color turned out nice also. The salon is small and cozy, nice location, and plenty of parking. The receptionist was very nice and I felt very comfortable there.“
