Finding a right hairdresser can be difficult especially in a new city, but I’m so grateful I found Take san. He is knowledgeable and skilled with years of experience. He quickly understood what I(indecisive myself) wanted and suggested the right hairstyle and hair color. I’m very satisfied with how my hair turned out. I am happy that my hair is smooth and healthy again.I absolutely recommend him!

Great for Asian hair! I have a lot of curly-ish Asian hair and Takashi did a wonderful job balancing out my layers since my previous hairstylist didn't know what she was doing. He is super swift and has a loyalty system for returning customers. Also there's a small discount if you pay in Venmo or cash.

I'm so so so glad I found TK Hair Studio! I moved from NYC earlier this year and of course needed to find new professionals for everything. I came here for a cut in August after much research (~40 hair salons Yelp & Google reviews) because I desperately needed my hair thinned out and trimmed. I've been scarred with how people can mess it up by overthinning my hair so I made sure to look at tons of photos and read reviews of places. Asian hair can be difficult to cut so I'm really picky. He is meticulous and very detailed when he was thinning my hair and trimmed it well, not too blunt or shaggy at the bottom. I am extremely particular with my hair, but I was really happy with it! I also give it a couple washes to see how I feel about it before deciding whether I'd go back or not. I'd definitely return! Also, my hairstylist in NYC who colored my hair when I visited last month said it was cut well too. If you don't believe me, believe in other hair professionals who know their stuff! Pay in cash & get a discount, tip well! There's also a punch card for returning clients which is nice. I live out in West LA but was thinking about how I probably need a cut soon and need to drive out here to come to TK! There is parking validation for the parking structure to the left right after you pass the location. Once you get to the location, you dial his suite number on the keypad to the right by looking up TK Hair Studio to get buzzed in. Lastly, there are restrooms, and there is a machine at the front to validate parking. These are individual salon suites, everything is very clean. PS he is an animal lover and has a dog and multiple cats
