If it were possible I would give zero stars. This review is years overdue, but whatever. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had. The hairstylist was deceitful and disrespectful for no reason. When I came to this salon I had highlights and I wanted ice blonde hair. The highlights I had done were my first time dying my hair and I did not know what was doable & what wasn't. She assured me she could do the color I wanted (I shared pictures w/ her via text message & in person) by my wedding date. So I discovered this salon on TikTok. Loved the work specifically their work in copper. So I booked an appointment with MJ. Went to my
Appointment, LOVED it beautiful work told all my friends and family about it. Fast forward 1 month later. My appointment was on January 10, 2025. They’re in Pasadena so fires were near them
(but they were still operating). Got a message from MJ 1 day before my appointment on January 9th. (See pictures of convo). Paid about $350 more or less just to leave with my hair looking blue black even though I had got it bleached specifically so that I could dye it dark grey.... Even darla's, or whatever her name is, employees were staring with their jaws dropped because they knew she had ruined my hair.
