HIGHLY recommend!! This was the first place I experienced sugaring at and I was REALLY pleased with the experience. This was probably a few years ago (before covid) and I wanted to sugar my neck area, which I don't think is as common, so I messaged Angie with a picture of the area, asking if it would be okay, and she went ahead and arranged a custom appt for me. When I arrived, she explained sugaring to me and had me lay down to get sugared. Since it was my first time, and the hair is thicker there, it did hurt but I knew that was to be expected. It was worth it though. She made sure to get all the hairs, even tweezing out some that were left and made sure it didn't awkwardly cut off with my upper back hair (really considerate). She also made sure to show me the results with a mirror so that I could see for myself. It was very clean. Before I left, she told me about aftercare, as well! The second time that I went, it barely hurt at all, which was a HUGE difference from the first time. I had to go to a different sugaring place recently, since clients aren't being accepted at this time (understandable), and despite the other place's high rating on Yelp, my experience was much different and extremely disappointing. They sugared me in an uncomfortable position, did it too quickly (not caring for detail), and didn't even show me how it looked like at the end so I didn't see for myself until I got home, and there was still hair. It was really frustrating, but I'm glad that my experience with Angie has made me aware of what GOOD sugaring service is. I hope to go back as a regular once she starts accepting clients again!

Angie is the best!! I came to Angie for the first time with the mindset that I only wanted to do hard wax, because that's what I'd always done. She was able to explain that based on frequency and hair type, a combination of hard wax and/or sugaring might be what's best for me. She really is the best at what she does, and such a professional. I had been with my previous esthetician for a few years, and once I moved up to Pasadena I was so nervous about finding a new one. It's like courting a new friend rather than just purchasing a professional service, you know? But then through Yelp I found Angie, and she's been awesome! I'm so grateful to have found her.
