One of the best barbers I’ve ever been to! He is one of the few remaining old-school barbers that knows what he’s doing. I am a middle-aged man, balding, my hair was looking like a disaster. After I visited him, I’m looking like a star, the level of confidence he gave me after that haircut was unmeasurable. The man also knew so much history and was very kind. I wish I lived in Pasadena because I would go to this man every week. Oh, and it is the most affordable haircut you will get in Los Angeles. The price to quality ratio is out of control.

I believe the guy name is Jose. He fixed my hair after getting cut by another hairstylist from another salon. I walked right in shortly after they had opened. He took me in right away. Amazing cut Jose!!

$30 + tip for a woman's long layers haircut in pricey pasadena! It is very reasonable. Don't expect a hair wash or a blowdry, it's a bare bones salon, with no frills but Phillip is an awesome human! No wait, this man has his schedule down to a science he is really busy. And it's Cash ONLY so be prepared. No Venmo, Zelle, nada! Although I did see him accepting a check from a Senior customer. He always lets me use a blowdryer on my own, just so I leave with dry not frizzy hair, so for me this place works! Simple, efficient and effective. Parking immediately in front on Washington or on the side lot accessible via the alley next to Mission liquor.
