I hadn't had my natural hair done since 2020, so I desperately needed a haircut. I've been doing my own hair for the past couple of years....not really knowing if I was even doing it correctly, so I really needed help. First of all, the hair salon is located in beautiful Pasadena. It's a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. April was on time. She never let me just wait around. She was attentive and chilled. She immediately noticed that I had product build up ( I had no idea). She gave me a great and much needed haircut, a thorough hair wash, deep conditioning and a flat twist. I was super happy when I left!!! I learned from April that the reason why my hair was breaking off was because I had product build up Fast forward 3 months - My hair is thriving! Im loving my haircut. My hair is no longer breaking off. I have made sure that my scalp and hair are clean. And, my hair is more accepting of moisturizers and styling products. I can't thank April enough

April is amazing. She is the first person who has really helped my daughter learn more about how to care for her hair and her hair already looks healthier with more definition to the curls after only two visits. I also love her boutique next door so I can shop while my daughter gets her hair done!

If I could give 10 stars, I absolutely would. Head trip is a lovely salon. April is a miracle worker. I absolutely recommend April and her salon to anyone who is looking for a great stylist.Services: Hairstyling
