“This was my first time trying eyebrow lamination. I received a quick response from Rashell when I inquired. First of all, being located in Pasadena I was dreading parking. I was super happy to find a huge public parking lot once I found the address. Second, this cute little salon is located inside the Burlington Arcade, it's a small shopping mall with lots of cute shops and a cafe. Look for a glass door that reads "Rashell Beauty",up the stairs and you will find this super clean, friendly salon. There you will find the two beautiful ladies that work the eyebrows and do an amazing job at it. I was very pleased with my results.“

“Wedding makeup: Thalia and her sister are two exceptional makeup artists who are as talented as they are charming conversationalists. As a non-traditional bride (I wore a green wedding dress with accents of yellow), I was pleasantly surprised by Thalia's ability to fearlessly apply vibrant shades of green and yellow to my eyes ("not every makeup artist will do this," she admitted). It was my first bridal makeup experience, and I wasn't prepared to the amount of time I had to sit in the chair (two hours for the test and day-of sessions), but I was delighted with the results and every photo came out perfectly. They worked with our schedule and came to our venue, too. Thanks to Thalia and Natalie for their brave, kind, and professional approach to my makeup and the makeup of my mother, mother-in-law, and sisters-in-law. We all loved our looks! Brows: as a fair skinned blonde with nearly-invisible brows, I love to get my brows darkened by Thalia, as this elevates my look!“

“I like this place because of how easily you can book online and how they always run on time. I'm never waiting more than 5 minutes in the lobby after arriving for my appointment. I don't stick to one wax technician and have noticed that everyone is nice and does a good job, some more talkative than others (but that's ok!). They also sell waxing products if you need help with specific needs like ingrown hairs or dark spots, which is nice. There's also a parking lot where the shop is located, so no need to struggle with street parking!“

“One of the few places in Pasadena where I've left feeling satisfied with how my eyebrows look. The place is small and located in the corner of an equally small shopping area. There's plenty of parking, but it might be crowded due to nearby businesses (e.g., Food 4 Less). The inside is usually clean. For the few times I've been there, only one lady (Sally) has been there working. So depending on the time and day, you may be waiting more than what you expect. However, Sally is pretty efficient without sacrificing quality in her work. She pays attention to the details and usually follows through with what I ask of her. She takes her time and kept making sure that my eyebrows were balanced and the same shape. This took approximately 15min for my threading (eyebrow was $12 and upper lip was $6). It would be nice to have package/combo deals but I think they compensate for a stamp card system (if you go 9 times you get your last threading service for free). Convenient for those living in the area. Get your eyebrows done while you're out running errands.“
