They are great at getting your business and initially installing the panels, but customer service and follow up is terrible! Within the last six months my Edison bill has gone through the roof! The panels are producing minimal energy, way below what should be produced costing me thousands over the months. When I reported this to Clean Initiatives, after several calls, I finally got a return text requesting my last 3 months Edison bill. They said they’d get back to me, but I haven’t heard back from them in over a month. I’ve been calling, texting and emailing since, but no response! I even visited their offices in Pasadena, CLOSED! Clean Initiate Solar installed the solar system at my house. I have an issue where the house battery doesn’t power the house when the grid power goes down, even though the house battery is charged.
The first time I called in, someone answered, and they responded with “we’ll check some diagnostics and call you back in 10 minutes.” They never called, and that was about 3 months ago. I’ve called them and left messages, and emailed, a total of about 20-30 times. They have not answered or respond since the first "we'll get back to you." I had an excellent experience with Clean Initiative. Mei was very professional and explain the positive impact to the environment of the project and the benefits for the customer. I’m excited to take this saving opportunity.
