“I was very impressed on how beautiful My sis in law Elaiza looked during her sister’s wedding. The make up was so flawless and the hair is such soft glam look. She radiated in all the photos taken even after many hours of moving around as a maid of honor. I asked her who did hers and she mentioned Kohnur Bridal. It definitely caught my attention since I know based on experience, bridal hair and make up can turn out not the best later in the night. “I've been here 3 times now and each time I'm pretty satisfied with the service. I think there are distinct pros and cons for all their nail techs that did my nail but in general, I think this is a reliable spot. I do want to note that it is on the pricier side but I never leave the place hating my nails. 1st visit (GelX Purple French tip w/ extra white line) - Forgot to ask for Nail Tech's name - Cost: ~ $120 (I don't remember the exact amount) - This was probably the BEST nail set I've ever had. I opted for GelX because my nails, at the time, were very brittle and short. The nail tech did an amazing job as this set lasted more than a month and still looks really good. The application was so detailed that everything stayed in tack with no chipping even after 2 months later (although at this point they were very grown out. I just didn't have time to take them off while traveling). I really wish I got her name (I'm hoping they see this so they can let me know their name and I can book them again). Every french tip double line was hand drawn. The only down side to this set was that it took 4 hours because she was so detailed on the prep for the Gel X. 2nd visit (GelX French tip with pink/ red hearts) - Nail Tech: Elena - Cost: $130 + tip - My experience with Elena is also so good. She was more talkative and would even ask me which korean drama I wanted to watch in case I got bored. I think her prep was not as good as the first tech, but the nails also lasted a reasonable amount of time. I also loved how knowledgeable she was about nails and was able to advise me to make the best choice when choosing Gelx/hard gel/ soft gel for my next visit. 3rd visit (Regular Gel Neutral nail + 2 finger w/ glitter) - Nail Tech: Leah - Cost: $60 + tip - I called the day of and Leah was able to squeeze me in last minute. I think the way she shapes my nail is perfect and makes my nails look so flattering. I do want to note that I also don't think she is great at design. She's not as talkative (which I don't mind at all) but there are sometimes when I have a hard time understanding what she is asking. I originally called asking for a gel only manicure but when I arrived, I did ask if she was able to do a simple design. She initially said no, (which I was okay with) but towards the end she attempted to do this simple zigzag design on my index finger. After a couple of tries she let me know she couldn't do it. I would have been find with having no design but the only thing is, she already painted a "design" with glitter on my ring finger so I had to commit to something on the index finger or else it would look odd. I kind of just let it go and ended up having glitter on 2 fingers. I kind of wish she just said she couldn't do it from the beginning. She was talking to the other tech in Chinese saying "The customer thinks the design is simple, but it's hard. They don't understand. I just told her we don't have this glitter". Lastly, I think she also had a bit of a heavy hand. During nail prep, she is a bit more rough. The side of my nails do feel a bit inflamed, not enough where I got cut, but enough for you to kind of see it being red on camera. The service was also on the faster side. This whole set took about an hr.“

“Tecumsah was amazing, I called her for a very last minute wash and dry last week and she was so kind enough to work me into her schedule. It did require going to a different location than the salon but that didn't matter because she did a wonderful job with my hair and even styled it up for me. “My first visit, I was very nervous what to expect. You just go right into Ulta where the benefit counter is, and let them know you have an appointment. The techs there are highly knowledgeable about all things brows; the person I went to trained on facial mapping and was telling me all about it during the appointment. I appreciate that level of expertise in brows; mine are thick but highly arched, and I don't want them waxed within an inch of their life, nor do I want a shape that doesn't fit my face or natural growth area. I thought it was reasonably priced, and was happy with my result enough that I went back regularly.“

She took her time to listen to my concerns about my hair color (random graying, prior highlights, at home root touch ups), then provided me with a few options allowing me to weigh the pros and cons of all.
