“I was referred to Vick by a friend of ours in regards to a kitchen remodel I wanted done. I had never tackled a project like this before and was actually very intimidated at first. I contacted Vick and set up an appointment to come out to his shop to discuss my plans. He was very flexible. I being a mechanic myself am very very picky on who I like to work on and touch my belongings. When I walked into his shop to find him actively working and was very relived to find it organized. I discussed with him my ideas and he improved on my ideas by providing his expertise and professional input with design ideas and such, which I ended up going with due to the fact they were brilliant. I ended up doing all the demo on my kitchen, (Personal choice to save money) and setting it up for him so he can come install everything. He guided me on how to run certain things and where they should be and how I should leave it for him. During install Vick and his colleague were very meticulous while installing my cabinets taking their time to be exact and never doubted my inputs. During installation I had changed some ideas around and he was able to work with them building me an extra cabinet that wasn't on the original plan. Kitchen ended up looking AMAZING and all the little spaces of the old useless kitchen are now being used because of his brilliant ideas. “I was looking for a good cabinet maker with reasonable prices and I was happy we found Molina Cabinets. They really lived up to their high rating. We contracted Omar and his crew to build a new kitchen Island, new cabinets for the living room. Since we were going to replace the kitchen counters with Quartz and Omar told me they also do those, we contracted him to do that as well. They do outstanding work and on time. We added a couple of kitchen cabinets which they also finished on time and made our kitchen look modern and new. Omar and his team are very professional but also easy going and gave us excellent recommendations to the brick aground the living room fireplace. He recommended 4'x2' tile that ended up looking amazing and did not cost very much. At the end of the job, there were a few minor workmanships things that we wanted fix, which they did quickly and at no extra cost. We were extremely happy with their work and and very happy with our "new" kitchen, and living room. We plan to use Molina Cabinets to upgrade our master bathroom after the holidays. We recommend them for high quality work at reasonable prices.“

“I highly recommend L.A. Dwelling! Their design expertise and creative ideas were so valuable in the process of designing and remodeling our kitchen. I specifically worked with Alison and Anna, and they were both cheerful, easy to work with, and provided great advice and pro tips that made our kitchen plan so much better than we originally thought. They helped us brainstorm, got a sense of our style preferences, and proposed great designs. One highlight was the creative idea of moving our laundry machines (which were located in the corner of our kitchen) into our back porch area. This allowed us to have more counter space and cabinetry in the kitchen, and a designated laundry room by closing off the back porch area. It was a brilliant idea, and we are so pleased with the result. They also had the idea of building a shelf for the kitchen that matched the wood work in the other parts of our Craftsman-style home. This was such a nice touch that tied in the kitchen design beautifully with the style accents of the rest of our home. They were patient with us in the many versions of the design, until we got it just right. They were able to point us to resources of where to look for specific items we wanted (like cabinet hardware, tiling, range hood) to match the interior of our Craftsman home. “Great in 2017 with kitchen cabinets and drawers, not as great this time with a small job, an L shaped floating desktop, it's supports, 3 corner shelves and 15 ft of custom crown moulding. Rory is enthusiastic, helpful and she cares. Isaias is an artist. Both of them make a great team and take pride in the work. I wish it ended there but we struggle with each other this time. I knew exactly what I wanted, how I wanted it made and how I wanted to install it. I gave sketches, templates, a finish sample and measurements, not all of which was followed. In the end, we are happy with the results other than
1. The finish not being fairly close to the sample of honey maple I gave them(shown with desktop). It was to match the kitchen drawers they did previously, even if that required staining to match at $50 more.
2. The matching of wood selections on the right side looks odd. The left side blends well, the right side abruptly goes from pinkish to blonde. It's not horrible but not great.

I'll see if my painter can do some stain work and am not comfortable asking them to address it, even if I were to pay a portion. That's an indication of how contentious it became to get things right and to move beyond egos and pride. The feedback I got from them was that I was asking too much and that I wasn't clear with what I wanted. I feel I was super clear and that I was able to provide working solutions to what they saw as production obstacles along the way. I'm not sure either very much appreciated my viewpoint and that was a disappointment. I do thank them regardless, and believe they tried to do a good job.“
