I've been to way too many dentists in my life thanks to some rough experiences growing up. Because of that, I'm super picky about who I trust with my teeth. That's exactly why I go to Dr. Gong. He's not about quick fixes or unnecessary procedures. His focus is on what really matters; saving and protecting your teeth for the long haul. It's so reassuring to know I'm in the hands of someone who keeps it real and prioritizes what's best for me. I've never second-guessed his recommendations, and that says a lot. When I was pregnant, he explained how common it is for moms to develop cavities during the exhausting, sleep-deprived season (falling asleep before brushing, anyone?). Sure enough, I ended up with a few. Dr. Gong handled them with zero judgment--just care, efficiency, and a plan to keep things on track. No lectures, no pressure. His team is incredible. Stevi and Manya at the front desk are like the welcome committee you didn't know you needed-always warm, friendly, and on top of everything. Martha and Jenni made the process smooth and comfortable, whether it's x-rays or prepping for a procedure. My hygienist Lili was a gem. Gentle, thorough, and left my teeth feeling squeaky clean. If you've ever felt unsure about your dental care--or just want peace of mind knowing your smile is in the right hands--this is the place to be. It's not about flashy promises or overselling treatments; it's about doing what's right, every time.

I usually don’t write many reviews, but I wanted to share my positive experience at Lunada Bay Dental Practice.

I had my second visit with Dr. Gong today. I used to have another dentist, but over the years, the staff changed, and it was no longer a pleasant experience. After searching online and reading many reviews for various offices, something about the reviews for Lunada Bay Dental stood out and made me choose this one.

I needed quite a bit of dental work and was very anxious about it. Stevi at the front desk was very welcoming, and Martha, who assisted Dr. Gong, made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Gong was kind, empathetic, professional, and highly skilled....read full review

Wonderful dental office. Everyone is very kind and friendly. I find them easy to deal with in every way. I had a bad dentist and bad experiences. It took me a long time to return to regular dental care. It's possible the top notch care at Lunada Bay Dental is the only reason I was able to finally go back to the dentist. The only thing I would note is to not go to the lady with the light hair for dental cleaning. She is very sweet but doesn't pay attention and my mouth and face hurt afterwards. There are two other people you can go to for dental cleaning so I suggest you make a point to go to them.
