If you want to pay 1000 dollars for routine blood work, go here. PAMF engages in predatory billing practices. They are in-network with Anthem but the blood work here costs 10 times the price as it does for Labcorp or Quest. They do not communicate this ridiculously high and unexpected charge and then blame it on the patient when they intentionally send the lab work to their lab which they KNOW is expensive and have gotten complaints about. For example, CBC (85025) is $4 dollars at labcorp, but with them I was charged $40 after insurance. FSH (83001) is ~6 dollars, but with them I was charged $110 dollars. My husband and I had an online consultation with the PAMF travel clinic. We received a bill that was shocking: $760 for a 20-minute Zoom consultation together for both of us! I think it's absolutely overcharged for a travel consultation!

This is a review for a physical assistant Hwang in the internal Medicine department. I went in for my first annual exam with this hospital system. During the appointment, he was very nice, considerate and I liked him. I told him about my emotional trauma with dealing with multiple insurance surprise bills so to please only provide me preventative services/labs(covered by annual exam). However, week after my lab, of course, I received hundreds of dollars of lab bills. After going back and with with my insurance and sutter billing/code review dept, turns out the provider PA Hwang asked the lab to provide me non-preventive labs.
