Veterinarians near Palm Springs

“On a scale of 1 to 5 stars, they get 100 outta me! I don't know even know where to begin w/out getting all crybaby. This one is long, but if you truly care about whose medically looking after your fur babies, you'll want to read this in its entirety. I relocated to the desert from Los Angeles in early 2021 with my two golden retrievers, where I was spoiled by our vet of nearly 10 years. THE most important to me is that the vet is open to holistic care and not a Rx pusher for every single ailment. So, it took me nearly a year and a half of researching all the vets out here before choosing Pet Lux. No judgement on the others as to each his own, but Pet Lux was exactly what I was used to back in LA with our vet which was/is: Genuinely caring docs and staff. Genuinely open to my medical questions. Genuinely good humans. Genuinely experts. And most important, that I could trust them wholly. My boys Jenner and Troy LOVED going to see them. Sadly, they both passed away last year. Particularly for Troy, his decline was brutal. I was a basket case. They never made me feel like I was imposing on them with the myriad of emotions I went thru each time we had to pay a visit. Troy's decline included cancer in his eyes (eventually at the end going blind), when they outsourced us to an amazing Opthalmologist, whose practice felt like an extended family to Pet Lux's. I couldn't believe it. When both had to cross the rainbow bridge, and we all know how painful that is, they were so there for us. And they even stayed with me in the room when I needed them to. I just can't say enough about how incredible the experience with everyone has been while my boys were their patients.

And I've continued with them as they now care for my ne golden retriever Winston, my latest rescue since Dec. 2023.

I can go on an on about how amazing they are, 360.

Last thing I'll add, as I noticed a review about pricing: they are so reasonable. Every time I got an estimate, and we all brace ourselves, I'm always surprised how NOT expensive they are. Maybe its because I was used to LA pricing which can be insane. However, I am always relieved how NOT expensive they are relative to whatever issue arises. Trust me, they are not crazy expensive, they don't inflate their pricing and they always will explore alternatives for me when its my wallet that's scarce, NOT due to their pricing. And even if they were expensive like LA, it is worth every single penny as their work includes all of the priceless amenities they organically provide (including damn near mental therapy and emotional support, when it mattered most). 100 stars of of 5, is my vote!

We have used their dental services, regular check ups, emergency care ( they opened up the office on a Sunday to assist our puppy when he swallowed a blob of play doh). When the time came, they were there to guide us and comfort us when our babies crossed over the rainbow bridge. We have been given options when it comes to medical care and the Dr. takes time to listen to our concerns. They offer convenient hours and we never have trouble getting an appt.“
