Not recommended. Erratic scheduling & poor communication. Definitely have to micromanage these guys. Not surprising that the project ran long, but the reason was a second person having to fix the mistakes of the previous guy. Overall quality was lower than promised. I couldn't wait to get the project done so I don't have to deal with these guys again.
Had an unfinished shed that I wanted finished (shed already built). Overall it went typically for such things. David was my main contact. In the initial consult, he came up with a list of materials for the project which I ordered and they picked up. The crew was typical for California, meaning they didn't speak English which caused some difficulty in communication, but otherwise were hardworking, courteous and seemed to know what they were doing. I dinged them one star due to two miscommunications about what days they would be onsite, costing me two vacation days (i.e. I took off work expecting them to be there). In terms of quality of the work, they did honor meeting my satisfaction -- when they painted a door a color we had not discussed David didn't hesitate to have a guy come back the next day to fix it. David was responsive, even on the weekends. Overall, they were capable. With all such contractors, you need to keep monitor and try to overcome the communication barrier. I'm happy with the result. We had a new patio cover installed and are mostly happy with the result. The only problem is that there are two leaks where the new patio cover meets the roof of the house. I have contacted the company several times (phone calls, text message, email, and written letter) but there has still not been a response. David did leave a voice message saying he was following up on the work done, but did not mention anything about the leak. I did not complain about the nail that missed going into the beam and looks really sloppy, nor did I complain about the fingerprint marks left on the beams.I f and when I am contacted, these items will be added to the request to fix the leaks. It is really hard to recommend a company that does not follow through with the customers after the work is done.
