I love Armando's. Best Mexican food in Palm Desert by far. However, tonight I was none too pleased to dine there only to see far-right Fox News on the bar TV. It was the night that Trump was shot at. Would it be fair to suggest they avoid far-right or even far-left TV stations which might alienate customers such as myself? How about neutral CNN, or even local KESQ? If I see Fox News on the TV again, I'll never return.

This place is hands down delicious! The best frozen margaritas I have ever had! The strawberry margarita and banana margarita were so delicious! Great guacamole and chips as well. Salsa is a little spicier than your average Mexican spot, so keep that in mind. The enchiladas were so fresh and delicious. Everyone loved their meals. Service was great as well. Will definitely be back!

I had lunch here today and am on a pretty strict diet. I carefully considered the salad options and what ingredients I might have to delete and selected the grilled shrimp salad. It said on the menu that it came with black beans, avocado, tomato. It came out with no black beans but was covered in cheese, corn and crispy tortilla strips. I asked about it and was assured that I misread the menu. Since I'm not one to send things back, I ate around the things I can't have and left hungry. When I was walking out, I verified with a menu that I did not misread but they just gave me something completely different than what I ordered (and told me I was wrong). It left a bad taste in my mouth for sure.
