I hired UGC for a complete home remodel and addition as well as an ADU. It was a huge project that I knew was going to be stressful and so I wanted to hire someone that was going to be reliable. I was referred to UGC by one of my friends who worked with Carlos installing solar. I met with Carlos and few other contractors. Carlos was professional and fair priced. The fact that Carlos was going to take care of everything was what really drew me in. I needed plans so he had an architect that heard my vision and drew out different plans from me to choose from. Carlos and his team took care of everything from submitting paperwork to county, obtaining permits and setting up construction fences and porter potties for workers (which I hear some contractors make you pay out of pocket). I didn't have to worry about anything which was great. Carlos and his team did everything that was included in the contract (therefore contract is very important) I did have to pay for extra things I wanted like extra lights installed, upgraded flooring etc but pricing was discussed beforehand and it was all up to me if I wanted it or not. Carlos includes the basic packaging so for my ADU I got everything that was included with him and it still turned out really nice. For my main house I wanted to get prettier bathroom vanities etc so I got those on my own but at the end was credited for my expenses. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend Carlos and his team!

We were notified by the City that our guest unit was not in compliance and had to be rebuilt to code. As you may well imagine, as a home owner, this was not something that you want to hear. Between the costs for permits, dealing with the city office and getting quotes from different construction companies, it was a big nightmare, but as soon as we spoke with Carlos from Ultimate Green Construction, he made us feel at ease. He basically took care of everything, he dealt with the City and their inspectors, the project was completed in a timely manner and the place looks great!!! Carlos and his team worked non stop and during this COVID times, that's not easy to do. Carlos was very attentive to our requests, he takes pride in his work and is always there when you need him, he really cares about his clients. It's not easy finding a company that is budget friendly, performs great work, follows through on their commitments and has great customer service, so when you find one, you want to keep them. I plan on using Ultimate Green Construction on more of my projects for this very reason. Many thanks to Carlos and his team of professionals for a job well done.

We had a great experience with Carlos and his team. They did a great job with our garage conversion, bathrooms, windows, solar, and flooring. Due to COVID we were limited as to where we could get supplies from. Even with these limitations, the outcome was better than expected. We would recommend Carlos to anyone looking for any home improvements. And we will definitely have him back to do our kitchen when we are ready for our next renovations. We are very happy with the outcome.
