I have been a loyal customer ever since moving to Pacifica and will continue to be. Cleanliness, Tanning Beds, Service 10/10. Don't forget to say hi to Ryan (the owner) and Tyson the frenchie when you stop by.
Was getting married end of March and with the rainy weather hadn't been able to get my normal sunshine and natural tan mid-March (killing me, needed tanning bed endorphins), but absolutely could NOT be the same color as my white dress so I bought a 5-tan package from The Tan Line. The owner Ryan is wonderful very knowledgeable and has a cute dog named Tyson but he is very shy so don't touch him! give him his space =) It's tempting though I know... Anyways 3 tans in I was doing great because I'm Italian and take very well to tans but someone was in MY booth for the fourth one and I happened to mention to him (Ryan, not Tyson) how I was doing pretty well but was getting married, couldn't do the 5th tan in my package, and my shoulders weren't super tan whereas my belly was dark (I think bc I'm short and have to scoot down on the bed?). He recommended the stand-up one to get everything and warned me that the bulbs were new (I was doing almost max on the lay down). LOL he recommended 10 mins max and I was like "No I'm going to do 11 because that's my wedding number...and his FACE omg - he was clearly struggling between "customer is always right" and "you're gonna be a burnt-ass bride" so I did change down to 10 and am SO glad I did! I have a really high heat tolerance I think I was an actual lizard in a former life like a cool 5-ft komodo dragon or something bc I love sitting in the sun doing nothing for hours but wow he was not kidding the stand-up with new bulbs was intense (I almost screamed "RYAN! TYSON, FETCH! SOMEONE BRING ME A COLD WATER!" from in there) and I'm glad i listened =) He knows his stuff please take his advice. Anyways got a great tan in only 4 sessions but despite my Italian heritage I cannot stress enough - if you are fair or haven't had any sun or tanning bed exposure just buy a package and start off slow, like 8 minutes in the bed behind Ryans counter. Burnt backs and arms are okay and do-able, but burnt T & A is NO fun. I got a lot more T than A, but they're both painful when burnt so start slow otherwise your cheekies will be redder than a baboons. Ask Ryan he will guide you =)
Awesome owner, great vibe, unbeatable rates. Seriously, the rates are half what I’ve paid in SF for worse service. Gotta get those rays somehow when it’s foggy 24/7. If you’re new to tanning, they are super knowledgeable about the best ways to ease into it and not burn yourself to a crisp. Highly recommend!Service: Tanning
