This place is a hidden place in back of the valley. My daughter is taking an accelerated math class that is above my math knowledge. I've seen signs about this place but hadn't heard too much about it. One weekend day she was frustrated at a problem and I was no help so I figured let's try it! Well it was the best thing. We have met with Jason and he's a really good tutor. I sat in the waiting room for the first meeting and I liked how he directed her to the answer instead of just giving her the answer. We will definitely be using this place more for both of my kids advanced math classes in high school. Thank you Jason!

I have never loved my hair so much. I will definitely be going back and might not let anyone else touch my hair from now on!

Joel and his wife Kimberley were a pleasure to work with. Quick response, quality flooring work, good recommendations and after service for other little odd jobs, as well as a friendly and efficient team of workers. They are in San Bruno but are great for work in Pacifica or down to Moss Beach.

I was so impressed with Kayla during my first visit to Waves! I never write reviews, but I'd been trying to find a new stylist in Pacifica since I moved here in 2020 and had a string of bad luck until I met Kayla. I asked for a full highlight and haircut and she was so professional, educated me on what to expect in my subsequent visits (even down to which services I should book and how much they'd cost), and was a literal delight to hang out with. I will absolutely be coming back!

Finding the right stylist has been a journey, but Tori nailed it. I've struggled for ages to find someone who could capture the perfect color and cut with the bounce I craved. I showed Tori a few pics, and she worked her magic based on my face shape and natural color. She's got a stylish flair that just gets it. I'm absolutely in love with my hair, it's full of volume and style. Best of all, I was in and out of her salon in just two hours, sparing me the dreaded marathon salon sessions. What a fun experience! Not only super chill and friendly vibes but also talented barber and a very sweet owner.My son is 23 months and a few days ago he had his first haircut.Naturally we were nervous and this is not your typical kids car seat type of barber shop this is a real adult shop but I think they did an incredible job and my son was entertained.Thank goodness he didn’t destroy anything lol. I went on a photo rampage because everything in his shop is placed with style and taste (super clean BIG plus).We are fans and we will be back for sure.If you haven’t been here come by and I’d say it’s worth the drive ?Oh and not to mention Pacifica has car parades like regularly for the town, how cool is that. The owner of this ever even offered my toddler to sit behind the wheel.. he has no idea what could happen ??♀️

Yes, appointments are required but that’s because she’s busy. She even suggested excellent restaurants and things to do in the area as we recently moved here from Texas.
Do not pay attention to the bad reviews. Leaving a bad review because you have to make an appointment is a kin to a privileged person thinking they can just cut the line. Get over yourself people!

I had such a wonderful experience with Sabrina!! This was my first spray tan and I was pretty nervous not knowing what to expect going into it. Sabrina was super helpful in reassuring me that the tone I wanted was achievable and nothing to be worried about. She gave me a lot of good advice before and after our appointment on how to take care of the tan and even checked in on me the day after. I’m definitely going back!♥️
Just had my first pedicure there with Sunny. Let me tell you that he was quick, efficient, and thorough. I walked-in and they got me seated quickly after I chose my color. I was greeted immediately after walking in the door and the entire atmosphere was friendly and warm. I believe I have found my new nail place!
Wonderful pedicure here today. I do not like to have my cuticles cut, and even when I have requested such in other salons, they almost insist on doing it “just a little bit.” But not here - my manicurist Kim listened & just pushed them back as I asked. Also she was very gentle & easy on my ticklish feet! Very clean/sanitary too. Highly recommend & I will be back!

This review is long overdue. Refresh Nail Care is my go-to nail salon for gel manicures and regular pedicures. The salon is clean and well-maintained, and the nail techs are thorough and meticulous. I have natural nails, and they do a perfect, long-lasting job every time. Highly recommend calling to make an appointment in advance as they're usually busy.
The ladies here always make me feel welcome and happy. They are very nice and they go above and beyond to fulfill my nail needs. Hannah is a pro with gel x nails and acrylic (regular nails too of course), you can tell that she's really a perfectionist and cares very much about the quality of her work. Anna is also amazing, my two big toe nails were broken (because I'm clumsy) she offered to paint on acrylic to make them even, which I didn't even know you could do! Now both my fingers and toes look perfect. Considering what a thorough job they do, it is also always quicker than I think! Go to Pro Nails, you will be very happy with the outcome.
I love this place! My sister and I come monthly for pedicures. Everyone is so nice and detailed oriented. Once in a while I come for full sets and they have turned out amazing every time. I've been visiting Karma Wellness for a couple of years now (monthly visits) and my skin has been glowing after every visit. Verne Deason does Body Conscious Massage at the spa. When he first saw me I had been struggling with sciatica for over 6 weeks. I was headed to Europe and having difficulty walking more than a mile without pain. Verne did a variety of treatments in one visit to specifically address my issue. The results were amazing! I had a wonderful vacation with very little pain. I was able to walk (a lot of hills included) about 4 -5 miles a day. I am convinced that he saved my vacation. I had been going to Physical Therapy for a month and never got the relief that I got from one visit with him. Highly recommend!

Our water heater went out, so I called Dan since his name was on a sticker as the original installer. I left a message for him and he called me back a short while later. He and his son came out the next morning and replaced it no problem! Highly recommend this fast and friendly service! Excellent pricing too, compared to what another company initially quoted me. Had Muscio install a home EV charging station in my deeded parking spot in my condo garage - they were fantastic. Allen was great and responsive for communication, and Dayton did an excellent job. They also installed a Wi-Fi router. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a great installation experience!

I had to have a large eucalyptus tree removed because it was dead Pacifica tree service to care of the enormous job in just one day. They were very safe and methodical and removed all the debris quickly and left the property clean. They were efficient and extremely courteous to us and neighbors. I’ve been visiting Dr. Thomas ever since I was six years old and had spinal issues. I am twenty three years old at the time of this review, spinal issues have alleviated & now I come here to address minor issues a few times a year.His team of masseuse experts are wonderful and sensitive to your needs. Najib and David especially are very insightful and ask many questions while they are giving me massage to warm me up for the Chiropractic visit. Appointments are pretty timely, the latest I’ve started after a scheduled time was about 10 minutes.The table side manners that Dr. Thomas have feel personal. It feels like he cares for every patient this way. His office has helped me through ankle injuries, scoliosis, injuries that arose from contact sports , and surprisingly, a wrist ligament replacement surgery rehab. Turned what would have been nearly a year of rehab at a much more expensive location into seven and a half months!The exercises that I was given for my hands to increase my finger strength were instrumental in recovering from that operation. Big kudos to Dr. Thomas and the team!! Keep up the great work! ?5/5 (7/5 if I could give that rating!!)Also, they have a great view of the ocean from the front door. ?
Dr. Gene was wonderful. I'm out of town and needed an adjustment and he was able to fit me in to his busy schedule. Due to my stiffness and pain, he spent a great deal of time and energy ensuring I was no longer in pain and fixed. Dr. Cruz is a phenomenal and gifted chiropractor. She is super knowledgeable about nutrition supplementation and utilizes applied kinesiology and muscle testing to locate the culprit of your pain and source of the dysfunction. As one of the head instructors for neuroemotional technique, she can uncover hidden emotional connections effecting your body (this has been so beneficial and has helped me tremendously), and she's one of the few clinicians in the Bay Area with the equipment to perform stem cell regeneration which has drastically helped heal an old low back injury of mine and helped my wife avoid needing surgery for her achilles tendon tear. Her skillset spans beyond just chiropractic and allows her to truly have a whole body holistic approach to treatment. I highly highly recommend seeing Dr. Cruz!
I've only been a patient of Dr. Vo's for a couple of months. I cannot tell you what a world of difference it has made for me. I deal with RA and fibromyalgia. I carry tons of stress and weight on my upper back that is crippling at times...people will never know. I am in constant pain day to night and then this triggers my depression. I have had numerous massages, cupping and Accupuncture done to no lasting relief. After just 2 sessions with Dr. Vo...my world changed. I had to go 3 weeks without an adjustment due to personal reasons and my body was ready to shut down. I just got adjusted about 2 hrs ago and I feel like myself again. Dr. Vo is amazing at what he does and is so funny and personable. Front desk is always super nice and accommodating!!! I will never go another week without seeing him.
Dr. Mitchell has been helping me with my sciatic pain in my back and legs for close to a year. His strong adjustments have enabled me to move on from the debilitating pain. He is upbeat and positive and tuned into a lot of issues that can lead to full recovery. I plan to continue seeking treatment with Dr. Mitchell.
I took my precious-to-me cat to the lovely and brand new facility in Eureka Square. This place was recommended to me and I was very pleased. My cat is young, but he was recently very ill. Everyone in the clinic was caring, gentle, and thorough. Seeing my pet's name on the welcome board on the way in the door brought a smile to my face. We already have an appointment scheduled for our next visit!
I brought my pup here for the first time today and was thoroughly impressed! This is the first vet I’ve been to who hasn’t tried to upsell me. Dr. Randle was honest and efficient. I got the test results back within a couple of hours and I got the invoice right away to submit to insurance. Daniela was very kind, efficient, and compassionate. We will be back and I’ll be transferring my other pup here too.

NOT TAKING NEW PATIENTS RIGHT NOW--Our elderly dog had congestive heart failure, and they gave her the help that she needed. Dr. Grossbard is an expert and compassionate doctor, and he was willing to work with us to reduce our bill when we were on a limited budget. Our dog's life was extended a little longer because of him.
When I wanted to bring our other dog to get care here, I found that they are not taking new patients. But this policy may change at some point, so I recommend that you bring your pets here if you have the opportunity.
It was a really nice , no pressure experience for me being my first time doing yoga. And I spent the rest of the day feeling more relaxed than I have ever been.
