We decided to replace our 30 year old corrugated steel roof after having persistent leaks in the winter. Upon calling around for estimates it became clear that very few roofers install steel roofs, and the ones that do often consider it to be a speciality item. That's not the case for Western Sierra which specializes in standing seam metal roofs. Other roofers quoted higher prices with only 26 gauge steel panels. Tony's team used 24 gauge panels that they fabricated on site. New seamless baked enamel gutters were also fabricated on site. Over many years, I've gathered a fair amount of experience with major home remodels, construction, and renovations. Recently, I wanted to re-roof my 2,800 sq. ft. home, insulate the vaulted ceilings from the decking side, and add solar. This was not the simplest job as it involved several complicated issues, and I had some concerns about finding the right contractor who could not only deal with these issues but also with me and my involvement in the project.
