My mom and I have been going to Rosalva for 10+ years. We have always been satisfied with the service at this salon, and so have many other customers. This salon has a lot of regulars, and after seeing all the negative comments on here I thought it was time I leave a review. We tend to leave bad reviews when we are dissatisfied with a service, but this was a reminder for me to leave good reviews to the small businesses whose services I have enjoyed over the years. I previously had my hair a dark red. Rosalva was able to lighten my hair over the course of two separate sessions to minimize the hair damage. I've tried several other overpriced hair salons over the years swayed by filtered Instagram pictures, but none of them compare to this place: affordable, great work and great customer service from the owner. My mom and I will remain loyal customers here.

It was really messy salon and the owner didn't even bother to ask what me what services I wanted when I walked in. I've been there before since it's close to my job. However, I've realized that the owner seems condescending to her staff and they seem rushed and intimidated by her. After 10-15 min of waiting there with no one asking me what I wanted I left.
