Adobe Animal Hospital

Adobe Animal Hospital is a veterinary practice that has been certified by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1954, making it the longest AAHA certified hospital in Ventura County. The hospital has also been Silver Level Low-Stress Handling Certified since 2014. The staff at Adobe are dedicated and compassionate animal caregivers who aim to provide the best possible healthcare for pets. Upon arriving at the hospital, one customer noted that the facility was clean and the staff was welcoming. The staff were accommodating when the customer had to reschedule their first appointment due to a furnace emergency, and they still saw the customer's dog for an ultrasound. The vet was knowledgeable and sweet to the customer's timid dog, and provided information on how to care for the dog and when to schedule follow-ups. Another customer has been bringing their dogs to Adobe since they were puppies and have continued to do so even after moving out of Oxnard because they couldn't find another clinic that compares. The customer mentioned that the staff is always fantastic. A third customer had a positive experience with the hospital when their 106lb bulldog was in pain. The staff was attentive to the dog's needs, giving him a steroid shot before starting any procedures and accommodating the customer's request to stay with the dog during the procedure. The veterinarian was full of information and was empathetic to the customer's concerns. Overall, the customer felt that the staff was very nice and attentive.
