Their quote came in under other bids but, what I was impressed with was the specifics of their bid ( photos of each area along with a detailed description of the planned work). “Tree Care-PruningWith all the rain, my Red Pin Oak tree grew incredibly the last two years. Vertically, it grew 12 feet! The tree was at 50 feet. And the canopy grew outwards 10-15 feet. It is so much easier to prune without leaves on it.So I started my search and research, I reached out to 6 companies via their online estimate request. Three did not respond at all. So they were thrown out. Do not have an online form if no one is going to answer it.Within 24 hours, I was contacted by three companies.I made sure that all the companies had a business license and Contractor’s license. (CSLB)By far the quickest and most thorough response was from Quality Tree Care Arborist. The office manager, Stephanie was very pleasant and excellent on follow up.She had Danny McGuire contact me within several hours. I stressed I wanted it done soon. Danny was prompt and let me know when he was getting close to my house. He spent 45 minutes looking at the tree since it so tall with huge branches.I gave him my goals to reduce the height and bring the canopy in. The tree is 58 years old.Danny got back to me in 4 hours with an estimate. It was not the lowest but the information on how they would accomplishment the pruning satisfied me without endangering my tree, my garden or my house.On Monday, the crew led by Andrew showed up and started work. The crew was very good. With Andrew, there were 4 members. Andrew was in the tree while another man had a 30 foot cutting pull and he was cutting lower limbs.Securely, Andrew cut the limbs with with a chainsaw. The big limbs were lowered to the ground by ropes. I am in awe at how they do it.Within 2.5 hours, the job was completed. They did a great job cleaning up.I can’t recommend this company enough. Great group of people.I was surprised that one company required a $150 deposit to come out and visit to give an estimate. The $150 deposit would be deducted from the total bill. I found this strange. Why would a company exclude itself from competition?Now I feel safe that a huge limb will not fall on my roof and my entire yard will not be totally shaded.They had a cancellation so the following“

“Hamilton Tree Service is awesome! I called to see about having a large Sycamore tree removed from my front yard. The gentleman reached out to me right away to schedule an appointment to see the tree and give me an estimate. He explained what it would entail and cost. I then received an email with the same estimate amount and other Information relevant to what they were going to do. After I approved it, an appointment was scheduled for them to cut the tree. On the day the tree came down, Hamilton Tree Service showed up when they said they would, set up, cut my tree down, ground the stump, cleaned everything up and we're done and on their way within a hour and a half; all I had to do to prepare was mark where my sprinklers were and they put cones over them to protect them while they were working. I am so happy with the work they did, my yard looks great!“

There is no access and he took the initiative to go to the apartment building next door to get permission to bring his truck into their lot. I could tell he loves trees and loves to climb. Their pricing is also probably the best quote you'll get although they don't do stump removal. To have insurance over your project you'll contract with Encinal Tree Service but Francisco will.run the project. If you go without insurance you may be able to sub contract him directly for a discount. He came almost immediately upon calling for an estimate, with his daughter, he is a hard working family man. They did a massive pruning of a 80-100ft eucalyptus as well as removal of 2 acacias and crown pruning of a loquat. I'd hire him again for sure.“

“C&W removed three huge Lombardy Poplars from our back yard. The trees were a hazard to property and person, far too close to structures. C&W is a family owned business and they work alongside several long term employees. We received 4 bids for the job, and C&W issued their very favorable bid right on the spot. They showed up with a crew the following week at 8am, and it was fascinating to watch them work together, totally professional and coordinated, with all the right equipment and skills. Two tree climbers got right to it along with the ground crew, and by 3 pm the job was mostly done. They returned the following day for two hours to cut up remaining big chunks and to clean up.
