“In a world of HVAC con men, you can trust them to be reasonable and have your interests in mind.

My HVAC system had a leak a few years ago. Chris E came out and could not find the issue at first, but refilled my refrigerant and came back later. He, the owner John(?), and others came out 4-5 times and spent approximately 8-10 hours total over a year trying to find my leak. They also conducted a dye test, and provided heaters when it went out during the winter. After they found the leak, I was very concerned about the cost given the amount of time they had spent. Chris E apologized for how long it took to uncover the root issue (it was a very rare type of leak), and charged a nominal amount for all his time and testing.
