“The legalization or our circa 1949 338 sq. ft. JADU was a project proposal that few would even consider bidding. The preferred solution was demolition and new build. But our preference was the legalization of the existing structure. After engineering and County plan approval, we went to bid and chose John Christopher Construction as bid and project managed by Chris Manos. This project had several difficult nuances. The Foundation needed to be retrofitted without demolishing the structure. Unique is the Fotile in-counter dishwasher that makes functional space use of the corner countertop. Throughout Chris maintained communication and came through with solutions that brought our circa 1949 JADU into 2023 legal status with a fresh and updated style. Chris and his team saw the project through to milestone goal completion. Our JADU is permitted by the County, has a certificate of occupancy, and looks great!“

Time frame: They completed the project within a one month period of time. Convenience: They handled the entire project smoothly without any hassles. Our only responsibility was to write the checks. Quality of work: We are very pleased with their quality of work. This will allow us to maximize the fair market value of rent on this property. “We were in town for just a short amount of time and wanted to help our mother-in-law out with a laundry list of fix-it issues. The handyman we had scheduled with another company was a no-show and did not return calls. Our water heater case enclosure was in need of being replaced as it's over 50 years old and many people in this profession declined to work on it, never the less could actually fix it. Diego not only came and gave a very reasonable price but stuccoed the area and helped seal all entry point to ensure that no little critters could find their way in. He even updated the securities of tank and pipes to be in code. The quality of work that Diego does is exceptional.I can't express how much I have been looking for someone that can be honest, knowledgeable and do a quality job.
