I love Maria she gives great hair cuts. I showed her a picture and she did what I showed her. Also, I didn't have to tell her what kind of hair I have. She told me herself what she observed and told me "you have this kind of hair..." So I was impressed about that. Also she is really friendly.

*Actual address is 4532 Main St. Oakley* next to a Florist place in the Chevron shopping center. I needed a last minute haircut and Trish had an opening. She's great. Love her personality. She's very easy to talk to and knows what she's doing. I didn't feel rushed. Reasonable pricing. It's a small but nice place. Will definitely come back. I even got my eyebrows waxed by the other stylist in this salon. While I was waiting for the other stylist to be done with her appointment, Trish talked to me. It was super nice because I got to know her more and I didn't feel awkward just sitting around in a new place where I don't know the stylists. Great service all in one place. They take credit card payment which is a great plus for me. Don't really carry cash anymore.

I really needed my hair cut and highlights touched up right away since I am pregnant and I am due here in 12 more days. All the places I went to were booked till next week. I ended up at Gold Scissors Salon 4232 Main Street (Yelp has the wrong address listed). I was a walk in and Trish Becerra took me in right away. She evaluated my hair since my hair can be really deceiving (it's really thick but doesn't look like it). She quoted me a very fair price considering I have such long hair. Other places I go to charge me much more so I was happy about pricing. She knew what color it was off bat which is nice because other places always as and it makes me feel like they have no clue what they are doing. Trish did exactly what I wanted color and cut wise. She didn't put me under the blow drying machine after applying the color instead she blow dried it by hand to make sure all of my hair color came out equally. I received shampoo/toner/conditioner afterwards. I'm not sure if it was in that order lol. She was very social and pleasant. The process never felt rushed, she took her time and handled my hair with care. I told her I wanted a trim in the beginning but ended up changing it to long layers and she cut the front part to go with my face. She even suggested blow drying and curls but my hair drys fast so I was fine with how it was after she finished her cut. I am extremely happy with my hair color and cut!
