If I could give the very tip I would. But I had to leave something. All I can say from past experience, my own experience I wouldn't do it again, wouldn't recommend them, not even for a dog house.
It's been a long time since the last review for this company. My five-star review is for Senior Mortgage Consultant Mariela Moreno. Mariela is a fantastic mortgage lender! Incredibly communicative, prompt, organized, efficient and all-around on top of everything. I have worked with her on a number of transactions throughout the years. I trust her, and value her professionalism. One of the most competent and detail-oriented lenders in the area.
This is a nightmare company to be avoided. I have a loan that started with World Savings which was taken over by Wachovia which, in turn, was swallowed up by Wells Fargo. Ever since Wells Fargo took over, it has constantly harassed me and my wife. It started a few years back when I received a call a couple of days before the stated payment due date in my mortgage loan contract. The woman advised that the call was a friendly reminder that my mortgage payment was due shortly and she started to ask intrusive questions and I hung up. Since then, I get as many 20 calls a month that purport to be "debt collection" calls even though I am still in the two week grace period provided in the mortgage loan contract and my payment cannot be considered "late." I have never had a late payment in all the years that I have had this loan. Nonetheless, they call and call. These collectors will tell you that you signed a contract saying you would make loan payments on a certain date each month and that you are some sort of deadbeat if you don't pay by that date. When you point out that the bank signed the same contract and agreed to a two week extension for payments before they can be considered "late," they struggle for some response, usually without any success. When I ask whether I am in arrears or if I have ever made a late payment, they agree that neither is the case but amazingly stick to the story that "debt collection" is what they are doing. They are not. This is pure harassment to badger people into making payments before they are contractually required. I just arranged for a loan with a reputable bank but still get the calls.
