The STEP mental health outpatient program that Kaisers refers troubled teens to was not great. Run by very young adults who have no real life experience and aren't even parents themselves. They do everything as if reading from a manual rather than with real understanding, experience, and intuition. I was also surprised that it is run out of an old brown mobile modular building, not a real clinic. Strange.
August 2022
Applied for a position here, but withdrew my application in the end.The people I talked to seemed all very nice, but what was less impressive was an excessively long recruitment/credentialing process of more than half a year (!) and a contract that was totally outdated and made little sense. In contradistinction, the pay was distinctly below average.Overall, it wasn't a very attractive combination and not worth the effort.
December 2020
I want to express my deep appreciation to Tizeta, Rachel, Ana, Kelly (both), Jasmine, etc., who helped my daughter and my family DURING CRISES with Unconditional Care support. They were always there for you, with a warm heart and great professionalism. I contacted many other government and non-profit agencies for help, and only Seneca was offering the UNCONDITIONAL CARE COMMITMENT, going through with the most difficult time in our life. LAN
