I have so many positive things to say about Root and Stem and specifically Michelle Binzak, my acupuncturist, that I am not exactly sure where to start. I guess I should start by telling you Michelle has a Master's Degree in Acupuncture. Just so you know, that is a 5-year program! No joke. There are PLENTY of people practicing without such a credential...I would definitely recommend that you ask anyone with whom you are considering spending your money what kind of education they have. Needles + Your Body? You better ask!! :) I came to Root & Stem because my body was a bit broken. Years of stress climbing the corporate ladder chasing money and ignoring my health put me into a weak, fragile, and sickly state and I needed to change. First I met with Dr. Parker, who ran in-depth bloodwork to find my problem areas and help me to address them head on. From there, I met with Michelle who was incredibly instrumental in my healing. She provided expert acupuncture treatment and cupping and always made sure to check on my progress to adjust her focus. Michelle is very bright, kind, humble, incredibly sweet & funny, and made me feel like a beloved guest in her home. Not just that, she made me feel like a friend. Through some months of work with Michelle, I can say that I feel 80% better than I did when I first contacted them and I am still making improvements! I cannot recommend Michelle Binzak enough. Whether educational background or customer service or professionalism is at the top of your list, you will always have Michelle topping every category. Your hard-earned money is well spent with Michelle, you will not be disappointed and your body with thank you!
