My love for Green Day brought me here, but it was their passion for doing good - helping the environment by using 100% compostable packaging, giving back locally, use of fair trade/organic, and their genuine love and knowledge of coffee that peaked my interest. I tried this coffee over a year ago and it's truly the smoothest, yet bold, coffee around. I was hooked immediately and I've been a subscriber to montly shipments ever since. The subscription service is great and you earn points and can redeem for more coffee or merch items. You can even donate meals to the local food bank! I also buy and give away these coffees as gifts to my friends.. Everyone loves it! My personal favorites are Cerro De Oro k-cups and Father of all Dark Roasts whole bean or ground.But, I recently learned what really makes this company soar high above the rest is their unparalled customer service. A large shipment was misplaced/lost by the shipping company and rather than have me fight that company over the lost package, Oakland Coffee swiftly decided to replace everything for me.I was already a customer for life, but this definitely solidified it and I will continue to share my love for Oakland Coffee with everyone I meet!

I visited this cafe years ago when it was open. I really and truly miss the delicious sandwiches. I'm not even over exaggerating but they made the best sandwiches I have ever tasted, ever ! I cannot find a pastrami sandwhich like theirs ! The peach cobbler was amazing. I delivered mail in the area and I looked forward to lunch time... sometimes I couldn't wait to take a break I'd just go straight there to get food and eat as I go. The owners were amazing beautiful spirited people. I really miss them and the good food they provided. I loved the healthy choices they brought to the community as well. I still to this day talk about the good food I've had from there. I really wish they were open still.

Great place in the neighborhood! The breakfast burrito was highly recommended. My husband and I both tried it and it was great. It is almost like lunch and dinner, really, it is huge! The down side is that their hours are limited right now. I hope they open on the weekend soon!
