I have been with Mountain Yoga for a year and I love it! I did a wide sampling of studios from Walnut Creek to Oakland and landed on Mountain Yoga. Basically, it felt most worth my time and money. I learn so many different things from all the teachers that I do not mind driving from Moraga to Oakland 2 to 3 times per week.
Mountain Yoga is a studio where students can take a class and feel welcomed and their needs met regardless of how long they have been practicing. The teachers tailor make poses based upon the individual’s comfort level. The secret weapon is the teachers Ann, Baxter, Bette, Sarah, Mindy and others who each have their own unique styles of practice. Want to try a new teacher …no problem your dues can apply to all the classes. As a veteran of many Bay Area yoga studios over the years, this is one of the best out there. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed!
I am so happy Mountain Yoga exists. A great range of classes and teachers for every skill level. Ann Dyer (and the rest of the teachers here) has gone above and beyond to create series for every kind of interest and practitioner. I feel (as a perpetual beginner to yoga) well supported and happy to show up to classes - in person or remote. Thank you Mountain Yoga!
