I had the scab from skin graft surgery. Went to ER and they told me to follow up with Alameda Wound Care. I called and asked for appointment with podiatrist and they said nothing available till September 28th. I asked for a referral to Alameda Wound Care and they said it would take three days. I like Dr. Banks but LifeLong sucks. I don't want messages I want action and if I lose my foot because of their incompetence I am going to sue them.

Not medical care, just a call center! And an incompetent one at that. I have never filed a state board complaint before but I'm working on it.I started going to Lifelong several years ago. Dr. Jessica Furer was wonderful, just the best. Unfortunately she retired, and since then things have gone increasingly downhill.Dr. Furer was so good that you could overlook the occasional administrative screwups (not made by her). Now, it is nothing but problems. A constantly changing parade of doctors/NPs and woefully bad office staff/call center personnel. You can't even call the medical office directly and it seems they are forbidden to transfer you. They send "messages"... read full review
