Our experience at HVC has been some of the most genuinely enjoyable and high quality care I’ve ever received from veterinary medicine. Every single staff member we have interacted with here is so knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and sweet to my dog. As soon as we turn the corner and she sees the lobby door, her tail goes straight up in the air and she gets so excited.Our initial consultation with the physical therapist was incredibly detailed and comprehensive, and the rehabilitation sessions we’ve attended has helped my dog regain strength. The best veterinary care I have found in all of the Bay Area. I drive from San Francisco to Piedmont to ensure my dog is getting the best holistic care for his health. Here they appreciate things like a raw diet and an integration of alternative modes of treatment with more traditional 'veterinary' modes that vets learn in the schools where Purina and others major brands invest heavily to ensure that the soon-to-be practicing vets appreciate the 'superiority' and importance' of their manufactured foods and products. Dr. Richter and his staff stand out from the mass of vets with their knowledge and practice of a more balanced truth about what's good for my dog.

Best vet ever! They take all things into consideration. They are patient, caring, knowledgeable, and have a well rounded staff that all work well together. My dog improved mobility from the exercise plan they sent me home with on the first consultation visit, and is happy every time I pick him up from physical therapy. I recommend this facility to anyone who wants the most comprehensive care possible.
