I've been a client of Cynthia Black for several years and highly recommend her. She's a very talented hair colorist and stylist and is a warm, fun and friendly person. Cynthia is the owner of the Phoenix Rising Salon, newly reopened after the Covid hair salon closures. Cynthia asks for your hair color and style goals prior to her service and will provide her feedback before and during the appointment. This salon is practicing physical distancing and health safety protocols. Styling chairs are covered with disposable covers for each client, an air filter is in use at her chair, temperatures are taken, and chairs are set up outside for arriving clients. I had only a hair cut today after 6-1/2 months (last appointment was in February!) so that I could consult with Cynthia on how to colorize my new grey hair growth without covering completely. We have a strategy for my next visit. Thanks Cynthia!

Wow. I cannot tell you what a blessing it was to have Socanthy cut and style my hair. It is obviously her passion and skill set. She is an absolute gem and I would highly recommend!

Cynthia has been cutting and coloring my hair for longer than I want to admit. That being said, in all those years, I have never been unhappy. Because I trust her eye and her skill, I've often told her to do what she wants. Her work is so good, I've had folks stop me on the street to ask who my stylist is. I've happily provided her contact info! She's not only a great stylist, but also a lovely person! Try her out.
