I recently booked an appointment with Charlotte, after being on the hunt for a new stylist for a few months. And I am so happy that I did! In my experience, it normally takes a few times for a stylist to get get accustomed to a new client and how they like their hair styled, but Charlotte did such a nice job, that I felt like she'd been seeing me for years! She was attentive to what I wanted and made suggestions about healthy hair care. I was happy with my relaxer, as well as my cut and the salon's prices are reasonable. There's also a nice vibe in the salon--professional and down to earth.

I've lived in Oakland 10 years and I've had a hard time finding a good stylist my fault for going to the least expensive places and barber shops. those other folks were OK, but they didn't blow me away like Charlotte at Cuts n Stuff has. Charlotte and her stylist were warm and welcoming from the moment I stepped in. I had a few photos to show Charlotte what I wanted. She kindly informed me we don't call it "***** anymore, it's a sophisticated "long layered look" now.
