I had low expectations for this place cause of the ratings but it actually was pretty good! I was looking for a super deep pressure massage that would be painful but beneficial because I work out a lot so that’s what I asked for and I got it. It was very good, and I felt very relieved. Andy the masseus did a great job, I’d ask for him.
I wasn’t looking for a calming relaxing experience, was looking more for a traditional eastern massage so I would reccomend if you’re open minded to something new. It was $50 for an hour and I tipped $20 cash. My only criticism would be to play music in the background vs silence.
I have been going to this massage parlor for over 10 years. The skill level and intuitive touch to find my problem spots is unparalleled. It is not fancy. You will smell the faint fragrance of stale cigarettes as you enter the building. But I swear, I have received massages for much more luxurious expensive establishments only find myself comparing them with disappointment to Crystal Island massage EVERY TIME.. the sheets and massage rooms are relaxing and very clean. I continuously leave feeling like a different person and it's the most affordable massage you will find. Tip well, they deserve it! Pro tip* ask for the foot massage. It's 1 hour, head to toe and super affordable a($40 before tip). Massages are in a communal room. Wray comfy yoga clothes. Ask for Jeck! He just changed my outlook on life.
I have been visiting this place for years . My first time was taken here by a friend because my sciatica was killing me,after an hour of massage I went home walking on my own . In last 2 years I have been there at least every other week coco was great strong massage but good . Recently I tried Helen and she is just amazing I develop problems in my arms and lower back after her treatment am like 30 years younger,the problem is that now am addicted to her massage . Well great place great price , great masseurs. You should give it a try. And don't be afraid of tipping well a great work.
