So I've been a baldie now for several months and was in desperate need of a new but QUALIFIED barber! I've been to few Bay Area barbers who WORK in shops but they were either to flirtatious, messy, unprofessional, inconsiderate and not QUALIFIED. NOW, coming to Clipper Pusher's, I was tagging along with a close friend of mine but out of yet another desperate attempt I decided to get a quick touch up from a previous hair cut I receive from a horrible barber that will remain nameless. Lol Just from the simple touch-up Derrick did I was extremely impressed and knew right then and there I'll be coming back. Upon my 2nd arrival, the atmosphere felt safe and welcoming. No loud music or disrespect lingering around, Derrick had a smile on his face and seemed excited to see a returning customer. I had a few hair cuts in mind but just didn't know what to do. Derrick was very patient and kind to assist me with sorting through what would look best on me and gave me space to decide on what I wanted. He didn't have a attitude nor was he being rude/rushing/pushy. While he was cutting my hair it was a balanced amount of conversation and laugher. He paused enough times to even check in with me to make sure I approved of his artwork. Lol I really appreciated that bc most barbers will rush you on by if other customers are waiting, if your a woman who doesn't know what you want or they will give you anything and call it day. But NOT Derrick, he actually wants you to look your best and will take his time. He is more than QUALIFIED and needs more recognition for his talent. I'll will be a returning customer
