Mr. Carty came to our home to do an estimate for drainage issues. As mentioned by others, he gave us options on how to proceed from very expensive to much less expensive. These are probably the guys you want for a drainage project in Oakland.We had Paul & his crew design and install a french drain system around the perimeter of our house this spring. Paul came out for an inspection in January and wrote up a detailed estimate for the work, and we booked the work for April. We had a couple other estimates done for the project that were in the same dollar ballpark, but Paul's estimate seemed a bit more detail-oriented.The crew started work right on schedule, worked for seven weekdays straight and wrapped up on time. Both time and price were identical to the estimate. These guys worked hard and did a great job working in some tough conditions (partially under a deck) and took care to be as minimally invasive to landscaping and such as possible.We already had a bit of rain since the project was finished, and I was really astounded by how much water the system was actually diverting. Definitely recommended.

We contracted with Carty to install an extensive french drain system around our home in the Oakland hills. They were professional, showed up when they said they would, and got the job done quickly with a full crew who worked every day until the job was completed. We called them back a year later to do some more work and received the same professional and competent service. We are happy to recommend Carty Construction.
