Despite the shop's closure, customers have found a new, highly recommended option in the Backroads Barber Shop, which offers reservations and provides a great haircut experience. The Third Street Barber Salon's charm and the local farmer's market nearby made it a beloved community hub.
We came for a haircut while on vacation here. The shop squeezed us in & the woman who cut my son’s hair couldn’t have been nicer. She took her time, and listened carefully to what he asked for. The prices were very reasonable too. When we visit again, we’ll definitely come back!
Unfortunately, Jenny has shut her doors (as of or before August 2, 2024) - retired and moved to look after her mom. Jenny cut my hair for many, many years, picking up after Bob retired. She was always kind and did a very good job at good, solid hair cuts. She will be missed! Now to find a new barber - ugghh
super service, excellent work....as an 83 year old I have had a few haircuts, this shop is in the top five percent. Just found out she is closing. the stree she is on has a farmer's market every Saturday. No parking for blocks around. Sad. just found one that takes reservations. Backroads Barber Shop, east end of oakdale, very good haircut.
