I usually by marathon . Decided to look for a better deal and found A-g sod farms sod for a fraction of the price . I've had it for a few months now and it looks just as good as marathon 2 sod

This was my first time putting sod down. We ordered the sod a few days before we did the install. The sod arrived nice and early that Saturday morning the driver was helpful and professional.

In total I ordered over 3200sqft of the ballpark blend to do my backyard. The price was extremely competitive and the sod was perfect. The rye and bluegrass stays green pretty much year round but died off in the dry spots. The bermuda dies back in winter so it's kind of patchy but looks great when it comes back in spring. It's only died where I had bad gopher problems so no issues with the sod. I did notice that it is pretty heavy with nutsedge though. I have to manually pluck each nut every year or else it starts to take over. Other than the nutsedge it installed perfectly and the delivery was on time. I have been very pleased overall with AG.
