This is for the mammogram and vaccination areas of this facility. Mammogram. Have to. Early detection can literally save your life. I am having a lot of pain with my implants which makes the idea of enduring the pressing plates terrifying. My technician was really gentle, took the time to position me so I wasn't straining too much, and she got the images needed. When you tell people you're in pain/hurting and they make accommodations for you, that kind of compassion is wonderful. Vaccinations. Have to. I need to do a number of vaccinations (Over50, you need the two part shingles vaccine) the vaccination nurse helped me space out my vaccines so I didn't feel like I got ran over by a truck that night. She made sure I was well informed what was ordered that I was getting, why, and how often I would need to repeat if at all. Sore arms, going back for more, really pleasant and informative appointment. Kaiser Marin takes some getting used to. Kaiser Daly City, South City, and San Francisco have it down. Obviously my vibe vibes with theirs. Kaiser Marin - different locations, the style of the doctors, nurses, and technicians. But on the whole, it's been good. I had one really terrible experience with a really unprofessional, rude, cruel surgeon a few years ago. Everyone else has been great. I am really happy. Fiver.

So, it's flu season, right? That calls for a trip to Kaiser to get my annual flu shot. Let me tell you, they know how to do a flu shot clinic. Since I received a reminder email (and I'm a senior citizen) I drove over to the San Marin location just after 2pm. To my surprise, the clinic was set up right at the front door of the medical office! I walked in, showed my Kaiser card and photo ID, and literally 60 seconds later I was on my way. The technician delivered a double dose, so two quick injections, a band-aid, and goodbye. Total time spent from when I entered till I left? MAYBE two minutes, tops. That's the way to do it. Update. I am happy to say that even though my experience was still what it was, the manager actually called me to apologize and my money was mailed promptly back to me. I really appreciate it when businesses take responsibility and actually take action to correct the mistake. Well done.
