F James is a miracle worker. I had been suffering from golfer's elbow (from playing tennis) for several months. The pain started spreading a little bit to my fingers and a bit on my shoulder blade. I had read about exercises and some self massage techniques so decided to schedule a 90 minute massage with James, who I have visited before. He first pressed upon my shoulders, back, arms, etc. to determine if I had any pain and after deciding that my body was in pretty good shape then begin releasing the muscles around my shoulders. Not gonna lie the deep tissue was somewhat painful but James would change his motion and provide some relief when it got too much. He has very strong hands that worked deep into the muscle. After the massage, my elbow felt better, my shoulder and finger pain were gone and I wondered why I hadn't gone to see him months earlier. Of course you should check with your doctor whether deep tissue may help with your issue first but James really knows what he is doing. Also loved listening to the classical music track that James selected.
James is amazing! If you like firm, deep, tissue massage, you will not be disappointed. James gives the firmest massage I've ever received, and I used to go to a masseuse who treated the 49ers players. Call me a masochist, but that's the way I like it. And at $75/hr, he's a great value. Worth every penny.
I am so, so grateful to have found James. I experience chronic back pain and frequently have issues with my neck, shoulders, ribs, and lower back after an injury several years ago.
