About Pioneer Spa & Sauna

Pioneer Spa & Sauna is a quiet and intimate place that offers a $30 entrance fee. The tubs and saunas are small, designed for quick soaks. While the steam room has issues with temperature control and exposed steam tubes, the cold tub accommodates one large person. Although the restaurant is permanently closed, free razors and toothbrushes are available. Many guests note the male-dominated atmosphere, and some feel the owner is nice. Overall, it provides a comfortable experience with an impressive focus on cleanliness and unique dry rooms. Guests enjoy the co-ed area, which includes six rooms: Ice, oxygen, gemstone, clay ball bits, salt, and coral. Visitors recommend the $8000 massage chair in the co-ed area, offering a great experience for just $1 for three minutes. However, some suggest improvements for colder temperatures in the cold pool, as both pools are very small and shallow. Despite this, many find it to be a relaxing place and appreciate its diverse crowd.

Skip to the end for why I can only give 4 stars :( Their dry rooms are amazing, and it's one of those places where, if the shower area isn't for you, just change and enjoy the common area. The co-ed space has 6 rooms : Ice (basically a freezer), oxygen (dark sleeping room), gemstone (my favorite, walls plasters with amethyst!), clay ball bits, salt, and coral. I really loved walking on the round pebble path, it really massages your feet at your own pace. 10/10 for cleanliness, no complaints. In summary, the pros are : -very clean -unique dry rooms -very empty (almost feels secret and private) The cons, and overall why I can't give 5 stars: -there's only 2 pools, and both very small, very shallow -the dry sauna barely fits 2 people (kinda like those saunas you can buy and put in your home) -no restaurant or cafe, that severely limits how long I can stay I'd come again for the pros I listed, but for people who like to spend more time soaking between pools, that might be disappointing.

New favorite spa. This place has a lot of amenities, including saunas, jacuzzi, shower area, and more. My favorite is the sleeping and the TV room, it's dark, perfect for relaxing. The coed area is also nice, with plenty of options to choose from. The ice room is quite nice, I also enjoyed the crystal room to meditate in.
