I booked a makeup preview with Des because a friend recommended her to me. First of all, Des is very professional, her studio is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and Des is talented as all hell. I don't normally wear makeup or even style my hair. I dreaded getting my makeup done. What separated Des from other make up artists I met with was her overall attitude and approach to the job. Des put me at ease because I felt like she really listened to what I wanted and what I envisioned for my overall look. She asked about my Pinterest board, my wedding dress and wedding details, and did a great job walking me through helpful suggestions and advice. During my preview, she put extensions in and styled my hair and did a full face of makeup. I loved the way I looked and booked her for my wedding. My wedding hair and makeup was done flawlessly! I got a ton of compliments and most importantly, I felt beautiful and I have Des to thank for that. My wedding photos look amazing! My hair and makeup photographed beautifully and I'm grateful for Des for this. She is super talented and an absolute pleasure to work with. Let me start off by saying I was never able to sit down in a chair and feel as comfortable as Des made me feel! Not only did she change my perspective on makeup and hair, but she made every time memorable when I would look myself in the mirror! Des has an eye for every detail when it comes to her profession, from her punctuality, quality of the makeup she uses, and professionalism. She has a solution for anything! Des has done my make up multiple times as well as for my 15 year old daughter, who is not the most patient little girl, but Des managed to calm her down and get her makeup and hair done! Here is a photo of myself on my wedding day! And yes, she slayed the makeup and those hollywood waves!
