“My experience at Studio C has been absolutely amazing! I was very nervous about taking pilates as I get very self-conscious about exercising around other people. Christine turned pilates into more than just an exercise class. She always told me which muscle I was working with each movement, and took great care to ensure that I wasn't doing any exercises incorrectly. This is especially important in pilates because there are many instances where you could be unintentionally using your lower back for a stretch instead of your core which could lead to injury. Christine is extremely professional and has created a very welcoming space. The conversation is always easy and fun but never gets in the way of the workout. All of the equipment is extremely sturdy and high quality. I have consistently put my full weight on them without feeling any shakiness or rattling at all. The studio is also in a really charming private location. Parking was super easy as well, lots of space, and there's an alley so you don't even have to turn directly onto Ventura Blvd when leaving. I can confidently recommend Christine for all ages, my mother has been taking pilates with her lately and has been loving it as well. I rarely use Yelp but my experience at Studio C has been so wonderful that I felt the need to write this review.“
