I would highly avoid this doctor if you can because you likely won't have a good experience like my wife did. When she was added under my plan, this was the doctor chosen for her because Dr. Makovoz was the closest doctor to us. When you get to her office, you'll realize that the way they operate is so outdated and isn't efficient. Parking here is not as good either because when we came, they were doing some constructions so most spots were unavailable. When my wife needed a referral for a specialist, they give her such a hard time for some reason. So I told her to call our insurance and ask them to do it for her. They said they would try calling her PCP first which was Dr. Makovoz and when they got ahold of her office after few attempts they give the insurance rep a hard time too. They first said she was busy and couldn't be available while also being incredibly to the insurance rep until they told the person they were from Blue Shield then they did a 180 and change their tone. They said the doctor wasn't in the office anymore so she wasn't available. We stayed on the line while they were talking and after the insurance rep hung up, they said they will change it for us themselves since they saw the hassle we had to deal with. After we saw the specialist, we called back our insurance to change PCP and they changed us to a new doctor.
