“Been wanting a perm for about a year now and never actually went for it. Finally had my wife call and make an appointment for me because why not (I'm super shy and wouldn't have done it myself). Unfortunately had to cancel a couple times due to this or that (life). Luckily they were still kind enough to accept me and went in yesterday 10/16/24. Walking in it felt very comfortable and chill. They greeted me and I made it a point to say "we finally get to meet" just to break the ice I guess because in reality I was kind of embarrassed that I had to cancel twice and was almost not gonna go lol. I must say that I have extremely straight and thick hair that is not necessarily the easiest to work with so I was worried if it was even going to work. “Ashley has been doing my lashes every 3 weeks for 8 years. She is a true artist and a professional who really listens and delivers on the look that you want. I prefer more natural looking volume lashes. Thanks to Ashley's work, I get lots of compliments of my "natural" looking lashes - to the point that most people don't even know that they are enhanced. I don't even need to wear eye makeup! I look fresh and fabulous right when I wake up!

It's also important to note that after all of these years, my lashes are still healthy and growing. I've been to several lash artists - and many of them are poor quality, damage your lashes and/or make you look like a drag queen (in a bad way.) During the pandemic, Ashley was also diligent about hygiene and keeping clients safe. She's also just an all around good, kind human being. “I booked my appointment for April 20, 2024, around 10:00 am. I wanted a trim and a bit of a haircut, and I also wanted to go blonde. My natural hair color is brown/dark brown. I had been to this salon once before for a haircut and highlights, and because I was so pleased with the first results, I came back here for my next hair change.

Even though it’s been months since my appointment, my experience was still memorable and very impressive. They welcomed and treated me kindly and professionally, offering me coffee, water, and chocolates throughout my entire appointment. They even offered me a discount on my hair appointment. My appointment took a good few hours, from 10 am to almost 4:30 pm. The hairstylist, Gohar, was attentive to what I wanted and made every effort to make sure she understood what I was envisioning.

The salon itself was clean and had a relaxing atmosphere, which made the long appointment enjoyable. It was such a good experience overall that it’s hard to put into words. I was super happy with the results, and my hair has held up nicely, given my own hair routine and habits. I do research on how to take care of my newly treated hair, but it’s still an experience I’m personally navigating.

I’m definitely due for a roots touch-up after three months, but honestly with the way my natural hair meets the blonde and how it looks grown out overall it still looks so good. The fact that my current blonde has grown out nicely and blended well with my roots says a lot. I’m sure I could go another month without a root touch-up if I really needed to, but I intend on keeping/continuing the blonde for a while. The pricing was reasonable and I also tipped; it was worth the money given the quality of service and results. The products they used also seemed to be of high quality, which I appreciate for the health of my hair.
