Wow. I cannot say enough about this place. I took my son for a first time free class and by the time we were done I was ready to hand Mr. John all my money. This place is amazing and teaches them so much and encourages them to learn on their own and the instructors are so patient with the kids. I appreciate their approach to discipline while still having fun and practicing self control, while still overcoming fear and facing challenges. 10 out of 10. If you have a little sign up now. Sunrise Martial Arts is AMAZING! It is a beautiful balance of structure, discipline, respect, and fun! Master Jon is truly a Master at his craft and working with children. Instructor Adrian is patient, kind, and great with the kids as well. We are just starting this program and so far we are loving the experience!

The only place in Newport Beach for children’s self-defense. The masters are patient, caring and create a positive environment that reaches further then just Tae Kwon Do. I chose this studio after trying others for my son and this studio was by far the best fit. I wanted my son to learn self defense second and mind focus and control to be first. Sunrise studio has far exceeded our expectations and I chose to enroll my son in the black belt program after he finished the tiny tigers program.If you have a young child and want them to learn discipline while having fun, Sunrise is the place.A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++,I would highly recommend Sunrise Studios!
