Sit Means Sit has done wonders with our dog. We have a Cane Corso who can be a handful. When we were at a point of giving up, Chris talked with me on his possibilities and what a huge difference consistent training can make for us all to be a happy family. When our dog returned home, I could tell he enjoyed his training. He is a beautiful, powerful and intelligent dog that truly learned the fundamentals of his training. I strongly recommend Sit Means Sit. The trainers are loving and firm. They provide great leadership and train you and your family on how to be the best owners that your dog deserves.

My husband and I had our 1.5yr old Golden Retriever attend two five day sessions of training at Sit Means Sit.
He finished up his second set of training at the beginning of June with Cat. Cat was absolutely amazing! She helped work on his skills that he learned from his first week of training, but also helped our dog learn how to get in the car on his own (something he would not do on his own prior to training). Cat was very thorough with her communication with my husband and I. She was always quick to answer our questions over text and did great at updating us with progress along the way, including super cute videos of our dog.

My husband and I have a 1.5 yr old Golden Retriever who is very happy & playful, yet suffered from severe leash aggression (pulling, jumping, barking at other dogs, people, bicyclists, etc ...). We had done quite a bit of research & heard a lot of amazing things about Sit Means Sit! After a brief phone call with J.D., we knew we wanted to take the next step & begin training with our pup at SMS. We met J.D. in person where we had an hour consultation with our dog in the facility. From the second we stepped foot in SMS, to the second we left, we were treated with kindness & respect from all of the trainers in the center. Our conversation with J.D. helped us understand the training option that best aligned with our dog and the goals we had for him. J.D. is very knowledgable about dog training and he has a lot of passion and love for what he does (exactly what we were looking for)!! Our dog began his first day of training last week. I was nervous at first with the process, but my dog and I were greeted with friendly faces and kind words! Chris came out shortly after we arrived and introduced himself as our dogs trainer. About three hours after drop off, Chris sent us a video of our dog a few things new things he learned that day. My husband and I were beyond amazed and at a loss for words with how much our dog learned in just three short hours!! He was a new dog already! Chris was great at sending us updates every other day that included videos of our dogs progress throughout the week. As a nervous first time dog mom, my nerves were put to ease when I watched the video updates. Our dog was totally shining & THRIVING in the videos with Chris. Listening & learning, yes. But also was still wagging his tail with his tongue out, and being his goofy little self! It was so good to see he was learning while still having fun. Today our dog came home and we were able to talk with Chris in person about the training week. He was super attentive, patient, and genuine with us and we learned so much in the hour he was here. It was very enjoyable conversation and we loved being able to see our dog and his new skills in person!! Overall, we are really impressed with how well our dog is doing after the first week of training and we are looking forward to how much more our dog is going to learn in his second week of training!!
