“I had Lauren as my violin teacher for more or less three years of high school, and my time with her was incredibly transformative for both my skill and portfolio. The teacher I had prior to her meant well but was really disorganized, and the most I ever finished with her was one movement of the Bach double violin concerto. Entering high school, I really needed a complete repertoire of pieces, and Lauren was very helpful in helping me build one. Lenny is wonderful with kids. Very patient and gentle even when they get frustrated, as happens when learning a tricky new thing.
