I have been going there and see Maria and Martha for 20 years, they do a terrific job they were very friendly the place is clean and the price is just right. I highly recommend them over the much more expensive haircutting places.

I was a walk-in and they took me immediately. I'd been looking for an inexpensive barber/stylist in the area and was happy to find out The Head Snip was reasonable... but further happy with the cut I received, which was fast, professional, and looked exceptional. For the low price well under $15 (compared to places that are zooming to $20 for a basic haircut), I was impressed with the service and attention I received and the overall quality of the haircut. I'll be coming back... they've gained a customer!

I'm trying not to giggle at all of the people singing the praises of someone they identify as "Maria" at this shop. Maybe there *is* a stylist named Maria at The Head Snip, but if it's who I think it is - the owner - her name is MARTHA and yes, she's all of the wonderful things people are saying about her. We no longer live in the SCV, but when we were poor students there nearly 30 years ago, Martha was beyond kind to us ~ and we will never, ever, EVER forget her.
